So I'm a newbie to dry vaporizers and I bought this for the reason of portability, less smell, potency and it was on sale and fit my budget. Well I got what I needed and what I paid for and I'll say, It's awesome tbh. Don't expect zero smell, instead expect a barely-there smell unless you're in a car then you'll smell it but it's light and doesn't linger. In my room, it disappears fast and doesn't travel outside where I'm sitting and vaping. Using it was pretty easy after reading the instructions but just a tip for all the fellow newbies, Pull slow and long not hard and fast. The way of packing it is kinda annoying since I'm always dropping some crumbs of the herb when I'm trying to put it in. Use the cleaner tool with the pick on it, the flat side makes it easy to scoop up and pack it in, and then pack it down lightly with the packer tool. Finally, the vape itself is easy and quick to get used to so don't get intimidated by its size. Unless you already use vapes then the size is fine. However, it does get pretty warm/hot depending on the temp you choose which is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars. All in all, it's a decent vape for someone new and on a budget. I will be upgrading to a different one in the future but I still love this vape for at-home use since I don't need to open any windows and can sit where ever in my room.
I am a novice when it come to using new vapes, I only hade a genie back when I was in college. This thing works great with the herbs so far and was such a great price. It might be made overseas, but it has a Samsung battery and very solid composition initially. Big rips! I got the mouth piece and the 14mm bowl piece, both are musts. Most importantly here I definitely want to give a shout out to Puffitup and Dylan though, holy cow did you guys load me up on freebies. Even without having a lot of experience or knowledge on vapes it was super clear you guys have the best prices and stock. It was incredibly generous of you guys and will be a happy returning customer for sure! Thank you very much.
It is my first herb vape, and it works well. Lasts about as long as it should and sometimes takes even less time to charge than I would expect (use the wall plug-in that comes with it, my phone one seems like too much at once for it- not sure. Or of course an external charger for the battery.) It also holds a decent amount. It seems easy to clean on top of all that. The lid stays on for the most part and wouldn't pop off of the device. Don't bend over too far with it in your pocket and you should be good. However it seems to get hot (duh) but it doesn't cool off in the time to stir; it feels like the second round will be hotter than it should be even if set to the same temp as before. The stuff I can't comment on is how it handles concentrates. I haven't tried it with any. Overall I'd say the purchase was worth it however I feel that there must be vapes with similar price stickers and more efficiency. (I got mine 20 dollars off though. Not sure if I can give the code in a review? Lol)
I've owned my first X-MAX vII Pro since 2017, just recently reordered a new one. Having got them both for 60$ on their own is such an amazing deal, and it came with free candy, and a different free grinder every time with amazing packaging and care with a different person signing the packing card every time. If you're wondering if you should drop over 150$ on a new bud vape and are wondering if there's a cheaper option that'll last, sure this one doesn't come with all the luxury options or the fancy digital screens, but I've had 150$+ vapes also break on me in weeks while this stick went for 3+ years and still technically works; only issue is it can't be screwed together because I stripped the threads accidentally. This is seriously the most solid thing I've used since I first started smoking and I have to say all of my friends are extremely impressed with it as well. The small form factor of a mildly thick pen is also really convenient for me personally as I've traveled with it a bunch and it's survived so many horribly high falls from counters as well. Seriously consider just settling on this amazing gem of a vape, I promise you it gets the job done. I also recommend to put your herb in and then only gently press it down to pack it so you don't completely kill the airflow off and it'll help give an easier and more satisfying smoke, but even if you accidentally pack a lot, it's really hard to get no airflow on this thing so if you like overpacking, you can definitely do that with this. Also comes with a wax cup that apparently you just drip wax in and it'll vaporize on the cotton wick below but I've never personally used it since I don't have easy access to wax.
Be careful with this X Max II Pro device, especially if you are new to vaping--the lack of instruction and documentation is something to be really concerned about. I bought this device because I read vaping flower would be healthier than smoking during Covid 19. I read many of the reviews at this site and other sites, and someone suggested this device to me instead of higher priced alternatives. I started using it on an every day basis on 2 May. On 23 May after three weeks of consistent usage, I developed this scary sensation in my chest (I had previously been consuming via combustion on a very regular basis for 19 years and I NEVER had a chest or lung issue). I stopped using the device immediately and the chest sensation went away in 48 hours. I have been very frustrated with the little documentation that came with the device, especially the instructions for proper use. After reading up further on the device in the last week, I have learned that many people “sterilize” it by running it on its hottest cycle of 428 deg F for at least three sessions to “burn off” any thing remaining from the manufacturing process. This was never in the instructions. This would have been very helpful to know before consuming via the device. I hate to think which chemicals I was inhaling because I didn't know to perform this step. Also, there is little instruction on how to properly and safely use the device. I had been filling up the chamber about half to 3/4 full before using. Is this enough? How fine does the flower have to be? I did not know any of this because it wasn't in the instructions. What are the advantages or disadvantages of consuming on any of the temperature levels? I have no idea, it is not in the instructions. How do I know when the flower has expired and can no longer be consumed? I have no idea, it's not in the instructions. The bottom line is that I'm not sure, despite all the glowing recommendations, this device is safe for human usage. I do not trust this device not to give me lung or chest issues and during Covid 19, that is REALLY scary.
