I've owned my first X-MAX vII Pro since 2017, just recently reordered a new one. Having got them both for 60$ on their own is such an amazing deal, and it came with free candy, and a different free grinder every time with amazing packaging and care with a different person signing the packing card every time. If you're wondering if you should drop over 150$ on a new bud vape and are wondering if there's a cheaper option that'll last, sure this one doesn't come with all the luxury options or the fancy digital screens, but I've had 150$+ vapes also break on me in weeks while this stick went for 3+ years and still technically works; only issue is it can't be ******* together because I stripped the threads accidentally. This is seriously the most solid thing I've used since I first started smoking and I have to say all of my friends are extremely impressed with it as well. The small form factor of a mildly thick pen is also really convenient for me personally as I've traveled with it a bunch and it's survived so many horribly high falls from counters as well. Seriously consider just settling on this amazing gem of a vape, I promise you it gets the job done. I also recommend to put your herb in and then only gently press it down to pack it so you don't completely **** the airflow off and it'll help give an easier and more satisfying smoke, but even if you accidentally pack a lot, it's really hard to get no airflow on this thing so if you like overpacking, you can definitely do that with this. Also comes with a wax cup that apparently you just drip wax in and it'll vaporize on the cotton wick below but I've never personally used it since I don't have easy access to wax.
Be careful with this X Max II Pro device, especially if you are new to vaping--the lack of instruction and documentation is something to be really concerned about. I bought this device because I read vaping flower would be healthier than smoking during Covid 19. I read many of the reviews at this site and other sites, and someone suggested this device to me instead of higher priced alternatives. I started using it on an every day basis on 2 May. On 23 May after three weeks of consistent usage, I developed this scary sensation in my chest (I had previously been consuming via combustion on a very regular basis for 19 years and I NEVER had a chest or lung issue). I stopped using the device immediately and the chest sensation went away in 48 hours. I have been very frustrated with the little documentation that came with the device, especially the instructions for proper use. After reading up further on the device in the last week, I have learned that many people “sterilize” it by running it on its hottest cycle of 428 deg F for at least three sessions to “burn off” any thing remaining from the manufacturing process. This was never in the instructions. This would have been very helpful to know before consuming via the device. I hate to think which chemicals I was inhaling because I didn't know to perform this step. Also, there is little instruction on how to properly and safely use the device. I had been filling up the chamber about half to 3/4 full before using. Is this enough? How fine does the flower have to be? I did not know any of this because it wasn't in the instructions. What are the advantages or disadvantages of consuming on any of the temperature levels? I have no idea, it is not in the instructions. How do I know when the flower has expired and can no longer be consumed? I have no idea, it's not in the instructions. The bottom line is that I'm not sure, despite all the glowing recommendations, this device is safe for human usage. I do not trust this device not to give me lung or chest issues and during Covid 19, that is REALLY scary.
Let me start by saying I own a Dynavap 2020 M, an Arizer Argo, and a POTV One- three of the best and hottest vapes out there. And i grabbed this for 55, thinking it would just be a silly throw away. But WOW!! I had prior used a G Pen Pro (sadly), but liked the pen design- and this is the Titan 1 (earliest pen i know of) friggin perfected. I was pretty amazed by extraction efficiency, and just didn't think a cheaper vape could compete with heavyweights like Arizer and Dynavap- but not only is it up there- it's my new daily driver. For ease of use, slealthiness, efficiency, and a vapor that is amazingly cool, smooth- and tastes so good I couldn't believe it. I looked into Xmax's parent company- and they are an amazing Chinese company (I believe) who are committed to affordable, safe, and amazing vapes- (not a scumbag US company just outsourcing to China to make cheap, unsafe trash...not mentionaing any naaames here....) I read the mission statement of the company on their website (a site intended for vender mass-purchase) and was just so glad to have given such a wonderful company my cash (can't always say that...). All in all, you'd be hard pressed to find a better vape at this price (honestly, at any price. this thing just straight up no-conditions kicks butt!) ALSO- 10/10 Puffitup! Amazing resource, amazing content, dedication to quality and safety (the Tear Down series, SO rad!!)- and not selling unsafe knock off **** like certain OTHER online vape vendors... and a solid free grinder, free shipping, AND, sweedish fish in the package- are you KIDDING? Amazing. Thank you for all your hard work, xmax and puffitup!! Will be buying again from ya'll!
Got this on sale for $55 with a free grinder. I was in the market for a portable dry herb vaporizer and I didn’t want to spend triple digits on it. This one looked solid. I love that it runs off of 18650 batteries. Operation is easy and hassle free, and so is loading and cleaning it. A full chamber gets me at least 6 good rips. The preset temperatures work really well. I like it on the second hottest setting (purple light, 410 degrees). I don’t know why people are dropping over $200 on some of this stuff. I’m more of a dab guy and I’ve never tried an expensive vaporizer but this one works extremely well. It’s given me a whole new appreciation for flower and I think it will last a long time. Unlike in other reviews, I have no problems with it getting too hot but I always turn it off as soon as it’s cashed.
I paid $60 for this vape 2½ years ago and it's still running. Only recently have I notcied it's been producing less vapor, but you get a very solid product for a low price. Produces very little smell when you blow out the window, people have come in my room right after I vaped, and they couldn't smell it at all. My only complaint is that the mouthpiece can fall off easily in your pocket
