I had read reviews about these type of bubblers being very fragile. Let me tell you - These little guys must be made out of titanium space glass or something. **Short version**, 2 of these bubblers and a glass stem, for some reason, were tossed loose, with no additional packing, into a USPS shipping box about 1 1/2 inches thick and about 8" x 8" square. They made it intact!! They work great, I really like them. Creates a nice smooth cool vapor. They are easy to use if you are careful and I had no problems with the leaking. They really are very nicely made. If you like smooth cool vapor, go with these babies. ...read on for long version. PIU threw these little glass beauties onto the mercy of the USPS in a bare little basic USPS box. That they did not get smashed to smithereens was unbelievable. After they get stuck in Auburn CA for about 3 1/2 days, I got them sprung from the USPS alternate universe limbo by creating a ticket online w/ USPS, this is *not* PIU's fault though. They then made their way from Cali to the south east where I live, 2,300 miles, rockin' and rollin' in that little box all the way. I get a notification they have been (finally) delivered and go to my front porch. No box there, hmm? Surely the box would be a bit too big for my mail box. Imagine my surprise to see a thin, small flimsy USPS box stuffed into my mail box. I carefully slid it out of my mail box. As I did I hear "clink, clink". Uh oh. That's a bad sign. I take it into the house and slowly open it to see three GLASS items I had ordered just rolling around, foot loose and fancy free. Not a packing peanut, not a bit of newspaper, packing cotton, bubble wrap, something fluffy, anything but no - nothing in the box to protect the glass. I sent a picture of the box to PIU letting them know they items were intact. They seemed unconcerned. Meh. It was a long haul to get the right bubblers for the solo II. Chat, phone calls, emails all very polite until I get that box with them rolling around in it. Glad I got them but it was an arduous journey with this company. When PIU is good, they are very good. When they're bad...well you know. Very inconsistent service from them, they try to make it right, screw up again, offer refund (o.k. that's cool) but at some point you just want what you ordered and expected. Just sayin' won't be using these guys again.
The stem is to small for the heat chamber. It wont seal and doesn't work.Great idea to bad it doesn't work
This product was great until it wasn't. I've had it about 1-2 months. After daily use and occasional cleaning with warm soapy water and a pipe cleaner brush (about once weekly. Also not an easy task) , one of the inner glass tubes appears to have broken. I noticed when the water would drain out and make a sizzling sound when it touched the heating element of the Arizer. You can still use it without water but then its just a normal stem without the cooling bubbler. Bummer!
Used this for less than a week and it is already broken (center piece broke off from pipe itself). It is great when it works, but that's only if you can somehow keep this thing from breaking. The holes drilled seem to significantly weaken the glass
excellent product...would buy again....Oh wait I did buy it again as a backup
