The titanium tip is night and day difference from the stainless steel one. The adjustable bowl will save you bud and the titanium will heat up a lot faster. Don't hesitate to buy; if it's in stock.
As good as it gets
The titanium tip is great but it does not outclass the steel tip in every way, the 2019 M steel tips should be a true sidegrade to the Ti tip with the increased airflow the current gen steel tips lack. I personally did not mind the airflow on stainless steel tips and this is very much a preference thing. The other main differences are the adjustable oven size via slots for the CCD (75% + 50% capacity) plus the heat time and retention. The steel takes longer to heat and cool while the Ti is quicker for both. Both tips have merits in different situations. I actually prefer a steel tip if it is windy because I would rather heat a bit longer so I can have a bigger hit before the cooldown click happens. Indoors however, I prefer my Ti tip and enjoy the quick heat times with my preferred indoor lighter (powerful dual flame angled to a point). The weight difference is slightly noticeable but I have no preference.
The Ti tip warms up about twice as fast as the SS tip and cools down quicker, without really cutting your hit short. I still use the SS on my M when using a water piece, but any other time I have the Ti tip on there.
I like the time tip better although St St one isn't bad.
