The HydraVong XLS features a longer slip resistant body, a new airport, and larger cuts in the titanium tip for improved airflow and even fluffier clouds.
We’ve loved DynaVap’s Vongs for some time and not just because of the beautiful American Wood bodies or their pure Titanium Tips, but also because of the range of customizability and their super compatibility with water pipes. The HydraVong XLS has that same fantastic build but adds a twist by featuring a new airport which gives us more control over the airflow and helps thicken vapor through a vortex effect which creates some massive clouds. The Titanium Tip also features larger cuts which improves airflow and adds even more body to those fluffy clouds. The beautiful wooden body of the HydraVong XLS features some new geometry for a more secure hold as well. The HydraVong XLS stays true to the DynaVap way and doesn’t require any electronics. A butane torch can heat the HydraVong XLS to a perfect vaporizing temperature in 3-5 seconds or you can use a regular flame to heat it up in about 5-10 seconds. The HydraVong XLS includes DynaVap’s famous non-electronic temperature indicator. When the HydraVong XLS’s cap is heated to the correct temperature it will emit an audible click; a second click roughly 30 seconds later indicates that the cap has dropped from the vaporization range and is ready for more heat.
Simple to Operate
The VapCap HydraVong XLS sections are friction fit, they can be assembled and disassembled by gently twisting and lifting. Usage technique with the HydraVong XLS is simple but important for optimal results:
Twist off the cap, fill the loading chamber with material (coarse to finely ground) and put the cap back on.
Slowly rotate the HydraVong XLS while applying heat to the cap, a jet torch style lighter works best.
Once you hear the HydraVong XLS's cap click it's at the proper temperature. Begin taking your draws; you should get 1-2 draws at the proper temperature before clicking again indicating it's below temperature.
Make sure you wait until you hear the cooldown click before applying more heat. To avoid combustion DO NOT apply more heat before the cooldown click.
Once you hear the cooldown click you can apply more heat until you hear the unit click again indicating it's back up to temperature; you can now take more draws.
Repeat steps 2-5 until your material stops producing vapor for complete extraction.
