If you don't read any other reviews, read this. Here's why: Everyone is giving reviews based on their first impressions, but no one is coming back after a year and telling you how it's holding up over time. I've bought 2 fury 2 vaporizers and 3 fury edges over the last 2 years, and have been vaping for about 13 years total. first I bought a fury edge and a fury 2 at the same time because the battery is not replaceable and I wanted a backup to use while the other charged. I also wanted to compare the two to see if one was better than the other. performance-wise, there is no noticeable difference. They both have excellent air-flow and great clouds of vapor. Honestly they seem very close in terms of battery life and charging time, although I didn't time them. They are both very stealthy and basically disappear inside your palm if you want to wrap your fingers around them, but the fury 2 is more concealable for sure. The bowl size is identical on both. heating time is equally quick on both (probably 20 seconds or less). but I had a lot of difficulty removing the mouthpiece on both for several weeks. then about 4-5 months later, the mouthpieces on both devices would no longer attach to the vapes at all. within a week of each other. Then within a year, both vapes completely died within weeks of each other. Never dropped or exposed to any liquids, but both dead at the same time. Then I replaced both, and both died again, within about 14 months. This is with me alternating vapes with each use. If I had only used one vape all the time, I would only have gotten 6-8 months use out of it. I only vape about 2gms a day, split between 2 units. Obviously I like the fury vapes because I keep replacing them, but the build quality is not there. These are high-performance throw-away vapes. These are not devices that you can use for years. Even if they were not prone to mechanical problems, you cannot replace the battery once it dies, and you still have to replace the unit. So That's a hidden cost; you're going to replace these fury vapes every year, maybe more than once, but great performance. I feel like the manufacturer knows these fury vapes don't last, and that's why they only give a 1 year warranty. Anyway, hope this helps
There is no doubt this device works wonderfully. As the owner of 7 Healthy Rips devices in total I’d just say ‘buyer beware’ if you are expecting any more than 18 months of function. My current Fury Edge stopped working after 14 months—contacted HR and they offered the lifetime 50% off warranty, but that puts my near term investment at over $200. If it’s between that and ~$279 for a Crafty I’d choose S&B every time for their performance PLUS quality workmanship PLUS better warranty.
A huge game changer for me. Hits great on it's own, and the water pipe adapter is great If you have a piece to accommodate. Very highly recommend the dosing caps for a long list of reasons. If they made a version with pass through charging and slightly longer battery life it'd be perfect.
This is an excellent vape. Easy to use, reliable, flexible, all the good things you'll see in other reviews are definitely true. Definitely worth the money over the Fury 2 for a variety of reasons, especially the charging speed and greatly improved accessory system. Cleaning is very easy, at least in terms of the spots that really matter for performance, like the screen and the vapor path. The parts that can be a bit tougher to clean are cosmetic, like the edges of the lip around the chamber, and the plastic areas underneath where the o-ring sits on the mouthpiece. If you feel like you'd be bothered by either of those, using dosing capsules would probably make a big difference in keeping those areas clean. The only real gripe I have is that the mouthpiece doesn't clip on as well over time. I've been using it daily for almost two years, and it still isn't *that* much of a problem, but it's gotten to be a little finnicky sometimes, and can pop loose a bit before getting seated. It would probably be fixed by replacing the mouthpiece/accessory attachment, but it hasn't really bothered me enough to spend $20, and it's intermittent. That's it though, truly the only issue I've had after two years of heavy use. It's survived a lot of small drops and a teething puppy, and is sturdy enough to be regularly thwacked when clearing the chamber. Very highly recommended.
